What are the Palworld system requirements? Palworld is the closest thing to a Pokémon PC game we’ll ever see. Better still, it’s been branded as Pokémon with guns, what more could we ask for?
Thankfully, Palworld doesn’t ask a lot from your rig – at least for minimum specs – meaning everyone can find a new deadly but cute pal without needing the best graphics card on the market. You may, however, want to upgrade to one of the best SSDs for gaming.
The Palworld minimum requirements are far from intimidating. Developer Pocketpair says you’ll only need a GPU as powerful as the ancient Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050, meaning any modern pixel pusher from Nvidia or AMD should do just fine too. For your CPU, you’ll need an Intel Core i5 3570K, which is just a four-core chip that’s also quite old. The RAM requirement for Palworld starts at 16GB, which is arguably the highest bar set within the minimum requirements.
Here are the Palworld system requirements:
Minimum | Recommended | |
OS | Windows 10 64-bit | Windows 10 64-bit |
GPU | Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 | Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 |
CPU | Intel Core i5 3570K | Intel Core i9 9900K |
RAM | 16GB | 32GB |
Storage | 40GB SSD | 40GB SSD |
The Palworld recommended specs are quite a huge leap up from the minimum requirements, but the performance boost that comes with them will be equally substantial.
You’ll need an Intel Core i9 9900K paired with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 and a massive 32GB of RAM – again it’s the amount of RAM that is the most surprising part of this spec. AMD equivalents are not yet given, but we can safely say the AMD Ryzen 9 3900X and AMD Radeon 5700 XT would be more than up to the job.
As you might expect, the Palworld download size requirements are nothing to worry about, as its footprint is relatively small – for an open-world game – taking up only 40GB. All the same, it’s required that you run it on an SSD which makes sense given the open-world nature of the game will mean a lot of game assets are regularly being accessed from the drive as you wander around.
